Just a few images below of the file conversion process that occurs in PSO Episode 1&2 Ver1.1 when you insert a memory card with a Ver1.0 save file.
In recognition of Ver1.1's removal of that silly soft filter on photos saved to the memory card, I've left these images sharp and uncompressed just to annoy you dial up people.

These screens occur after the progressive scan mode prompt screen and the Sega + ST logos. Language is auto-selected by the Ver1.0 system file... obviously they were thinking of the importers for the first time ever.
